Its 11:42 pm!

Ok - some of you who know me well know that I am never up past...oh, say 9 pm. At least during the school year. I am up tonight and I will regret it tomorrow - but that is the price to pay when you are having a conversation with someone in China over Skype. I met a girl through Facebook who went to my college and she is living in Beijing. Beijing is 13 hours ahead of Chicago - so to continue the conversation I have had to push back my bed time a few hours. Oh well - this is finals week and I have been working on my final exam in chemistry - and one benefit of being up so late tonight is that I got it finished. My kids will get 80 questions - and 90 minutes to finish them.

This is my first attempt at blogging. Or should it be "blogging." Is it an accepted word now? Anyways - I am still in Chicago for the next month - and I am getting my final i's dotted and t's crossed. I have found several people from my college who are in China - its nice to know that I will have a few connections when I get over there. Its Memorial Day weekend here in Chicago - and today is actually pretty nice. I am going to go to Subway now and grab a sandwich. Talk to you all later.
